I am a New England native and have lived North of Boston my entire life. I spent my college days in Maine preparing for a now 43 year career as a  dental hygienist. I started collecting dolls and teddy bears in earnest in 1985 after my kids were grown to “perhaps” fill that empty nest!! From 1995-1997, I was part owner of a group shop in southern New Hampshire which specialized in antique and collectible toys, dolls and teddy bears. From 1997 to the present, I buy and sell mainly on the internet and still spend many hours searching for goodies in shops, flea markets and yard sales. I also enjoy spending time with my husband, my son and his wife, my daughter and her husband, my six wonderful grandkids (3 granddaughters, 3 grandsons) and my two very special “rescue” dogs, Mickey and Hershey (adopted as pups from Great Dog Rescue New England www.gdrne.com, a non-profit, volunteer Massachusetts based organization who rescues homeless dogs from the Tenn. area).
